About Mental Health Horizon
MISSION: Reaching individuals and families who experience changes in physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual health. People who are too scared, shy, ashamed, and feel guilty to seek counseling due to stigmatization. To build and rebuild holistic health.
To encourage others to seek counseling when necessary and strive for head-to-toe holism.
OBJECTIVES ARE FOR INDIVIDUALS TO:
- Accept changes and find ways to adjust.
- Seek counseling without shame and prejudice towards self and others.
- Realize that a head-to-toe connection is necessary throughout the lifespan.
- Be honest with ourself when seeking help and when discussing health issues.
- Recognize that pride in self and fear of what others might think will lead to stereotypical behavior that can prevent us from seeking help.
- Recognize that seeking help for one aspect of health is as important as seeking help for all aspects of health.
Experience
The Mental Health Horizon team has experience in identifying how physical disabilities, life challenges, trauma and crisis, and social changes affect significant mental, spiritual, and physical issues. We individualized therapeutic plans to build relationships and implement changes to provide cultural understanding.
We provide first aid for your mental health through awareness, education, harm reduction, and empowering mental strength, energy, and safety.
About the Founder
Charmaine is a licensed, certified psychotherapist. She has a Master of Science in Nursing with an emphasis in Public Health (MSN/PH), a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN). She has over 15 years of experience.
She is outgoing, down to earth, loves traveling, and loves people.
